Low self-esteem is an ugly attribute. We all know that. However, not all know that a high self-esteem is an even uglier attribute. Stop claiming credit for the strengths you were born with.
I owe you an apology. J, I have been your lover now for seven years; and over this time I have fed this ugly side of you with mouthfuls of rich admiration. I feared I would lose you - that's why I did it. And now, I owe you an apology. I am sorry.
